Characters:

1. Business Owner : A Person who loves cooking decides to pen down all his recipes and decided to sell them as e-books.
2. YOU : An affiliate marketer who uses Online Marketing techniques to help promote the business owner product.
3. Community : People online searching for recipes, found and purchase the e-book you are promoting

Outcome :

The business owner gets the sales of the e-books, and pays you a commission for the sales referral.

Numerically:

Business Owner sells e-book @ 10 dollars. The commission payout maybe 25% of the retail price.

For every successful sales you referred, you get 2.50 dollars.
